Dawg Camp Prime
Looking for a jumpstart on your time at UGA? Dawg Camp Prime is the brand new two-day experience that is designed specifically for transfer students who will be transitioning to life at the University of Georgia. Dawg Camp Prime has three main objectives: acclimating students to the UGA campus, providing opportunities for networking and focusing on activities that will improve leadership and teambuilding skills.
Dawg Camp Prime will give you the opportunity to learn more about UGA history and traditions, what it means to be involved on campus, and how to navigate life at a large state institution. This exciting solutions-based program will help you to actively avoid many of the challenges that students face in transitioning to UGA. You'll also engage with student leaders and professionals who will serve as transition mentors.
Up to 20 incoming transfer students who want to learn how to maximize their UGA experience. Each transfer student will be assigned to a small group consisting of approximately 8-10 other transfer students. The groups will be led by one student leader who serves as camp counselors.
Various sites on- and off- campus with lodging in a UGA residence hall.
Early bird registration, through June 30, is $100, which includes all meals, lodging, program materials and transportation.
Registration beginning July 1 is $125.
