Dawg Camp Adventure


Dawg Camp Adventure is an exciting wilderness immersion experience for first-year students. Adventure participants will build community and prepare for engagement during their first-year at UGA through outdoor activities including a rope course, hiking, kayak touring, camping, and more.

Each session will accommodate 16 students accompanied by two current student leaders and two UGA Outdoor Recreation trip leaders. No prior outdoor experience required, but a willingness to be an active participant and team player is encouraged.


Explore the beautiful areas surrounding Lake Santeetlah and the Joyce Kilmer Wilderness Area in western North Carolina.



Cancellation/Refund Policy: Dawg Camp Adventure cancellations made more than one week before the trip/activity can be refunded – minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. No refund is given for participation cancellations made the week of the event or for a “no show.”

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the event date will receive a $75 refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 10 days of the event start date.
